The Artist and Associates
Things are not so cheery as they appear at WPVT...well, that might have been expected. Transitions are rarely clear of incident. Incidents like accidental death. The plot thickens, as Jimmy's head remains a static thickness. A note for those of you on the chatbox: thank you for being so fun. Some of you I know by name, others I don't, but you're all a big part of this site. Thanks so much for being the fun, wideacre crowd this strip needs. Here's a question for all you toonheads: sometimes I "clean" the art fastidiously to rid my lines of "noise" gathered in the scanning process, and on other days I don't. The question is, working as I do at 700% of the viewing size, does it really matter, or could I be drawing new toons instead of cleaning? Do you guys notice? Personally, I always used to like the "scuffle" I picked up in scans--kind of makes me nostalgic for vinyl record pops and ditto sheets from high school in the 90's. What do you guys think?
